Well it finally happened. You wanted it word for word so here it is:

iexplorer sysfader error

The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812a5b

Does that say anything to you? Of course I had to re-open ie7 after it showed up. Thx J;)

Download this file and run it - when asked if you want to import into the registry, choose YES.

Once you do this, reboot. If the problem returns, pop back into this thread and let me know.

Should I have the hard drive backed up first? Since its something going into the registry I'm a little nervous...Thx

It's resetting a couple of values which already exist in the registry. It should not be a problem. If anything happens, we can boot from CD and restore the registry to a previous state.

Ok...I ran it and re-booted the computer. Ie7 came up fine. That sysfader error only came up every 4th 0r 5th time I would launch IE7. If anything ese along these lines should crop up again, I'll let you know in this thread. Thx for your help! James
