a) I would like to see how early gm rallies (55 series or camaro style) would look on my blazer, maybe a 4" lift and 33's.

b) it appears that the center "derby" caps for the early rallies were two-piece units consisting of the base and the tower. does anyone know if i could get these to work on the 4wd front hub towers if that tower part of the cap were removed? i've been looking everywhere, but can't seem to find anything as an example.

at worst it wouldnt be hard to cut the middle out and you could probably never tell. as long as you didnt cut up any good NOS caps, but who cares if repros get cut up... just a thought.

well, i was givin' it a go myself. this is what i got. not great for a 1st attempt. esp. the rear wheels. i'll have to try to work on the lift...

another go at it. the wheel should have been darkened to match. oh well, maybe when i get home.

I found one wheel that works for youre "sport chicken" if you close you're right eye and use you're imagination.......:lol:

so are there any opinions about whether this looks pretty good, or not? i wanted to stick with a wheel that would have been available at the time, so that it's still somewhat period...
