OK I think I've got everything figured out except for how come some of the pics on the page are X's not all of them I can look at pics in posts and watch videos just can't see everyone's avatar and alot of the ones on the web pages even some of the smilies are xed out.

Also if I'm watching a video on media player I can get the sound but not on youtube and others?

Youtube uses Macromedia Flash/Shockwave to play videos. Windows Media player is a physical program on your computer, while Flash/Shockwave is a plugin for your browser. The problems you are having with sound could be related to security settings in Internet Explorer, or a corrupt install of Flash/Shockwave. Was that working before?
