Sorry to ask for help again so soon... Dunno if I inadvertently bumped a wrong key or what may have happened. I'm running XP, and when downloading a page (slow dialup) there was always a red 'stop sign' in the upper left part of the screen. It would lose its red color after the page had loaded. I think it was in a control bar, but something happened tonight and it's gone -- and possibly the control bar it was in. I'm just not sure, but the pages look different across the top.

Did I bump a key... and how can I get things back the way they were? I liked being able to click the 'stop' after most of the page had downloaded, because I could get to another page more quickly.

Right now, I have the red bar at the very top, with '1947-1998 Chevrolet & GMC etc etc'. Immediately below that is a gray bar with File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help.. No other bars, just the page itself. Arggghhhh.... :whine:

Click on the View menu, and under "Toolbar" put a checkmark next to "Standard Buttons".
