OK...I am about 4 hgours from purchasing the new alternator.

What real benefits are gained from upgrading to this awesome CS-130 alternator?

I understand there is more power for accessories and goodies., I also understand with it being internally reglated...you get rid of one thing hanging from the front cowl.

What else? Is the power cleaner, will radio stations now come in from the moon, will my headlights (stock halogen) be brighter?

Etc.

Probably none of the above. The main advantage is to people who have upgraded to more, bigger, better electrical accessories (higher amp headlights, stereo, pwr doors windows, air compressor etc.).
