His truck is red. He was going to put it in the Car Show that the Tyler Crisis Center hold every year at Harvey hall in Tyler. I do not now what weekend its going to be.

I work in the same area . . ....

Our get togethers are attracting around 13-29 trucks and cars each Tuesday night. We meet at East Texas Choppers [kinda cool since the club is called East Texas Classics] from 6-9pm. ETC is on HWY 80 right before you get into Terrell [coming from Dallas/Mesquite].

One of our members is 2bits and he lives off Duck Creek in Garland. Sure would be cool to see more locals come out and join in the fun.

Spray Bomb....next time I know we're gonna be in Mineola I'll pm you the day before. We go fairly often.

I think the BBQ owners & church that was next door are the reason it ceased (more likely the church since it was in their lot where everyone parked).

Change the location... plain and simple. Maybe.

Our place has a bar and restaurant attached and they have a great deal on both at happy hour. The other side is a Harley shop where they build wild customs. Everyone there likes the cars and trucks coming around. The area in between is a huge covered patio with the largest outdoor fan I have ever seen. The front lot is fairly good size but like Keller's they also have a back lot [no $5 cover on Sat.] which is twice as large. We have our own DJ outside [be sure and ask him how the panel truck is coming :D].

Sammy Walker's is a great BBQ place. I really doubt they had anything to do with shutting it down. Coulda been an issue with the church though. In the meantime, ya'll come out once in awhile...we're about midway between everyone in this thread.

I used to pas by it on the way to my friends property in Terrell.. my 69 is still there. They were both there for a while.

When it's packed. If there's not a super big crowd, there's no fee.....

It's called East Texas Choppers....about a mile west of Terrell on HWY 80 on the westbound side of the road.

Must be a sign of the times....guess their car count is low these days. Back when we were going the cover charge was every Sat....course there were over a 100 cars each nite back then.

There has been some slow nights up there but outweighed by the packed nights and I've never paid to get back there. First time hearing that! Ill start carrying a 5 dolla bill on me now.

You might not need it...they may have discontinued it due to the high cost of gas....last time I saw it first hand was in '03.
