I was just wondering if a 10 Bolt Rear End out of a 1987 1/2 ton Long Bed (5 lug)would be the same rear end that is in my 1988 short bed 1/2 ton (5 lug)? Also would the gears be diffirent if one was a 305 tbi and the other was a 350 tbi? Thanks Ronnie

They will be a different rear, but if you weld new perches on it, it will be close to stock width. Check the glovebox for the RPO codes. Gears start with a G, GU6 is 3.42, GT4 is 3.73s, and GT5 is 4.10s. G80 is the Grenade Lock.
