I need to swap out the heater A/C control unit becuse the original fan button does not turn passed low(when its on low it’s off, and when it’s on off its on low.). My question is does anyone know or better yet have any pictures of how to replace it? Any help or hints would be appreciated.

Ralph, my son replaced just the fan control switch on his 98 K2500 and didn't have to replace the whole unit, which is quite expensive. He got the part at NAPA and I believe it was about $21 about a year ago. Might check with them before you replace the whole unit. He said it was about a 30 minute job.

thanks dave, i'll check it out. I did check and they are going for $222.02 at every dealer I called. and I also found them for around $100 on flebay.
