this is the fuel tank that i pulled out of my 70k5.it is alum. and fit perfect between the frame rails.filler neck and vent in correct location.is this a factory tank?http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r310/DREW4201974/DSC00065.jpg
if i decide not to use it,anyone interested?whats it worth?thanks
NO. The factory tank has rounded corners and has a seam in the middle. this is an aftermarket tank either home made or ?? Nothing wrong with that ---so I would use it in a second as it is probably stronger then stock and if aluminum, lighter too!!

Definatly not stock. I Wonder if it holds more gas though. Looks to be in good shape.

Yeah, do you know how many gallons it holds? Looks to be pretty well built.

I Havent Driven The Truck A Whole Lot,basically Just Back From Florida.i Would Run The Gauge Down To E And Refill @ Around 18gals.im Not Sure What The Stock Capacity Is.the Tank Is Really Nicely Built And Solid, has A Baffle Inside Plus Like I Said The Vents And Fillers Are Perfect Fit For The K5.im Going With A Fi Setup On My Blaz.this Might Be An Easy Tank To Modify For Vents/returns Etc.well See.
