wheels- has anyone run 20's on the sub yet? I have a half ton 69 dropped maybe a 4-6" kit, not sure.

The wheels I want to run only come in a 20. not that I want big ole 20's, but I like the wheel and I want to keep six lug. Just wondering how much you think I will need to modify to get them in there. Also what size tire you all have run.

Patching rust- I seem to remeber a step-by-step post on welding i replcaement rocker, but cant seem to find it, anyone?

vent window- same as trucks? also who has them at a decent price? Thoguht I also saw a post on this at some point.

Thanks for all of the help, if anyone wants to help out in Los Angeles, I have a great shop in Hawthorne and would help you with yours as well.

Ive seen 20s on burbs. I dont know what would be needed for the rear. Im sure a notch and some wheel tub mods. As far as the front there are lots of trucks on this site that run 20's and that would be exactly the same on burbs. Vent windows are the same, there was a thread recently where everyone said those aftermarket wing/vents windows fit like crap. The window frame is squared off on the corner where the truck is rounded. the rest of the door is interchangeable. Ive read that you can un-tac the window frames and make a burb a truck and vis a versa. Did you do a search in the paint and body section for the stuff you were looking for on bodywork?

Well thats all I can steer you to. Hope some of it was a help.

My 69 Burb is bagged, c-notched, 2 in block in the rear and 2 1/2 dropped spindles in the front. I'm going to run 20 X 10's on rear and 18 X 8's on the front. I've seen several guys do this without modifying the tubs, so I think you'll be alright there. If you'll click on the signature link to my 69 Burb, it shows some pretty good pictures of inner/outer rocker replacement (as well as some other rust repairs). I think there is also a good link in the FAQ by ROKCRWLN also that covers rocker replacement.

yeah, by looking at your posts I know I wiould be in over my head in the rust repair game. Thanks for the other info.

I am thinking of running 20x8.5's torq thrust st anthracite front and rear. I have a static 4-6- drop but no c-notch. I will be doing a disk conversion in the front (who wants to look at drums)
