Just ran a disk compression to try to boost the computer speed up a little and now I can't load myspace, and several other websites. I've tried both IE7 and Mozilla and both give me error messages.

"Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked."

What does this error message mean?

Thanks

I believe it would depend greatly on what version of Windows and what web browser you are using. I can give more specific answers if you fill in the blank on these items.

Running windows xp and IE7 and Mozilla 1.xx on the cpu and running windows xp media center edition with IE6 and mozilla 2.xx on the laptop. The cpu stopped connecting to myspace and a couple other websites a day ago and now my laptop stopped connecting last night.

I am wondering if there is some type of virus or something that isn't let me load the website. I ran adaware, avg and norton and none of them came up with anything. I noticed that there was another post about loading myspace in this forum after I had already posted my question.

Thanks
