Works for me , i have a dumb question , is my spot right as you come in at the blue gate ? The blue gate is the main entrance , right ? Close to that restaurant on the corner ? I kinda get turned around when i'm there , lol .
Stilllkn , i have more wheels for ya , if you want 'em .
Later ..................................... 409 :)

if it's the same as the last time i went, there were a few different entrances. they should have signs up telling you where to enter. if you cant drive in at the blue gate, just drive around the perimeter of the fairgrounds till you find a way in!

Alright, I'll be there Saturday as well, my truck purrs like a kitten now, so I won;t be missing any of the get togethers :-)

Billa, let me know if you'd like me to bring something to the BBQ (soda, chips, buns, whatever) so that your not stuck bringing everything on your own.

I'll be there and will bring your dash CG and leave it with Livrat if that is ok with him and you. It would be nice to have the barbeque in 409's booth like we did in Darrel's booth in Monroe a couple of years ago. I am not sure they will allow that at Puyallup...since access is more restrictive. Doug could check the rules in his sign-up package. At Monroe they state no alcohol etc., etc. but don't police it and don't get rowdy. Puyallup is a little tighter and it also depends upon who is holding the event.

Doug, If you have any that have 4.75" backspacing, bring them along...they will match my Firestone's perfectly and I won't have to cut the centers out and move them.

I would like to vote for a later meeting (say 1:00PM) at 409's booth since everyone will want to shop for the good deals early and meet later...otherwise we may not have that many show up. Just a thought.

Makes sense - I'll step out of the parking lot BBQ thing and just count on showing up at the booth around 1. :) So we make sure everyone catches this, 12:30 BBQ is cancelled

Bill, I don't want to kill the barbeque idea since I love them at the swap meets. Can we do it in 409's booth? I would be glad to help...it might even generate some extra business for him...LOL!

No worries; gut is that it's too short lead time to make sure the swap meet Naz...I mean, that a BBQ would be allowed in the booth. :)

Hello from the new guy on the block... I am really pleased to see some local members of the forum- was starting to think everyone lives the other side of the U.S.
I am going with a co-worker, but will try to find your BBQ Saturday and stop by and introduce myself for a couple minutes.
Rider, again, thanks for the invite!

So darned sorry that I could not make...got "wrapped around the axle" with projects today. I have to leave at 6:00AM tomorrow for Baltimore and had no time for anything other than already scheduled projects. BIG BUMMER!!!!! I can't even make the Early Bird next weekend since the wife is dragging me to wine country for her annual trip. I think she does this on purpose!

Came home with lots of treasures....I bought a buddy bucket seat and a generator for the house. Awesome finds!! My buddy bought a parachute and a fire system for his vette. Lots of stuff there to satify most everyone.

Had a great time. Just a little gathering at 1PM Saturday. 6 members - Pickmup, Old Iron, Liverat, American Rider, 409, and myself. I didn't get out of my booth very much so I missed seeing the buddy seats. Who had those and how much? I missed by 5 minutes an NOS 67/68 park light lens with box for $5.00:whine: . Anybody else find any treasures or miss any?

A young kid(probably 30 or so) had a great 71 Suburban with a 68 front nose for sale at 8grand IIRC. Very clean with just the right stance. He said it was very solid mechanically - jump in and drive to Florida or more at any time. Nice rig.

There were other nice trucks for sale but that was my favorite.

Looking forward to the Early Bird meet this coming weekend.

Dang, wish I wasn't stuck in spokane at college, I woulda been allover that meet. Had tons of fun last year at it and ended up comin home w/ a 12 bolt posi. Which ended up gettin messed up before it got to the truck so now I'm in need of another one, too bad couldn't get to the meet, that woulda been a great time to find one... Hopefully I'll make it to some of teh meets this summer w/ my 66 after I finish the work. Have fun at the earlybird next week

Hey guys. I was at the swap yesterday. I had wanted to meet some of you at 409s booth but I had the wrong booth. I went to D116 and of course they knew nothing. I just checked again and it was D119, Huhh. I did pick up several things for the 68 and my wifes mustang. I was surprised at how large it was and how many people there were. Lots of nice rides, not counting all the vetts. Well maybe next time.
Hope you sold all your stuff.

I went with $120, came home with $4 and had a great time. NOS Offenhauser intake for my Odd-fire Buick V6 from 409.... been looking for over a year for that. A pair of E-brake handle covers for both my 67's {thanks Bob} and a nice 67-8 Camper Special Badge. Also got a line on a 68 that will be parted out soon near me. I was broke by the time I made it over to see Wes.

The meet seems a little bigger than last year. Next year a few of use should pool our money and get 2 or more booths side by side. We could all get in early and have each other to watch over the booths while the others shop.

I did see a pair of buddy buckets that sold for 300. Another guy had a set of original Vette 2.5in Ramhorn straight dumps for $450. The worst deal was a used 72 GMC front fender for $200..... I have bought whole trucks for that much.

Yeah that was fun . Sold a few pieces , came home with a few . Nice to meet everyone , can't wait for Portland and Monroe .
Did anyone see a light Blue and White 68 C10 for sale at the swap ? I saw it leaving on a trailer but couldn't leave the booth , that was my old 68 . Just curious what he was asking . I'll be posting some Parts for Sale items today on the board .
Later ............................................ 409 :)
