What happened? This was actually a very good resource for the Blazer/Jimmy guys. Sifting through the truck section is time consuming with all of the extraneous repeat posts. Combining with the truck board will only make it harder to navigate.

There are, in my opinion, far more knowledgable, upstanding, and generous people on the Blazer/Jimmy board than there are 'problems'. Please don't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch.

Respectfully -Chris

2 late, it's my favorite area also, there's been lots of issues off & on over
this sub forum for a long time. I wish we could just put the bad apples in
the garbage disposal and move on, using your analagy. This sub forum is
the main reason I pay for a subscription, I could care less about selling. I
hope we get it back, but I am not holding my breath. One thing is for sure
and that's my post count will drop, and my time spent here on the board.

Hopefully it comes back, otherwise i will have to find somewhere else to go. Nothing against you guys, but i don't have the time to sift though all the other junk. Just like LUV2XCLR8 said, the main reason i payed was for the Blazer forum.

I hate to hear all the discussions we have about trucks (which are 99% the same as Blazers) described as JUNK. How does a discussion about paint on a truck differ from paint on a Blazer? Don't the same wheels that fit a truck fit a blazer? Don't the same upgrades for trucks apply to blazers? Try using the search function if your only interested in Blazer posts.

Thanks Krue, my feelings bruised a little on this one. When you look these trucks dead in the eye, you can't hardly tell the difference.

Please let me rephrase that. I just want the Blazer specific information. There is some good info in the truck section, i just dont want to sift through it so i can get to the info about Blazers. My Blazer is missing some of the Blazer specific parts, that is why i like the Blazer forum. You are right, that the Blazers are similar, but there are a lot of little Blazer specific items. How many trucks do you see with fiberglass tops, choped down doors, rocker boxes for reinforcement, windshield frames are different, etc. Most of the info i have found for Blazers is by using the search function, but now all those topics are closed. I appreciate all the mods do around here, but please don't take away the one thing i like about this site.

Please don't close the Blazer forum!:whine: This is the only place I've found on the web just for good Blazer info. Why not just prohibit those that are causing trouble from posting?

guys .. please dont fight over this all, it is not helping anything. If you want to go off, then PM those responsible for this all happening in the end.

fun in dirt, many have been banned... many others continue the issues anyway. None of us have the time or energy to deal with the bs right now, so its closed till we do.

Guys, the forums aren't gone for good, most likely will be back, however at the current time please use the truck forums for questions on blazers. Those that complain do more than just post, we've been attacked in pm, etc. As shown by the "revolution" signatures, some of the members need to grow up and respect what they have instead of abusing it constantly. The bad apples will be dealt with it just takes a little time. We would love to make exceptions for parts etc. but if we do that then we'd have to have sub-forums for everybody and well then the site would just become difficult to navigate in a whole and parts that fit every body type in a year range would get missed by others. I hated to close it, but for now it's a you don't know what you've got till it's gone type deal. It's been warned there several times that if they kept trying to violate the rules and complain nonstop then well it would get closed, they laughed it as an idle threat and it is not. When I say something it will happen. I sound like a school principal and don't mean to. Those that know me know I'm pretty easy going, however if there is a section or group that does nothing but cause me grief non-stop I aim to eliminate it in order to keep the community as a whole from going bad. Many other forums have gone bad from one single group like this spreading to the others and creating discontent. We're just trying to prevent a few bad apples from ruining the entire community feel.

I'm in the middle of moving to transfer to a new college, buying a house, new job, my dishwasher blew up yesterday etc. As soon as I can get a semblance of stability we will handle the blazer board issues.
