whats the wheelbase measurement on my '52 chevy? It never had stock suspension so I could never measure. Im going to set the cab and fenders on to mark the front, weld in my scotts front end, but I need to know where to set the rear because I dont have a bed yet.
Also, how many of yalls running board mounts were bent? I think mine are but Im not sure...can I get new ones anywheres?
Thanks

Be careful as the front wheels were not centered in the fenders either. I would recommend asking your IFS suppier if they can provide a definitive dimension you can use for locating the CL of your front axle.
Another way is to tack it in place and then rehang the sheet metal to see how the wheels fit in the fenders.
The stock front suspension allowed the front and rear axles to move either forward or rearward under load.

well if 117" puts both wheels centered in the wells and my front wheels are centered then my backs will be too. And I do plan on mounting the body, marking the line, removing the front cap, tac'ing everything in, then remounting everything to check it.
