Is it possible to have the search function search 3 characters? I understand the reasoning for not searching 1-2 letter words as it would be extremely taxing to the engine. Most, if not all of the other boards I frequent allow 3 character searching.

Reason I ask is that many times when searching I find the 3 character limit is too restrictive, causing a poor search. There are many three letter words and acronyms associated with these trucks and automobiles in general that are not searchable: GMC, LMC, ECE, CPP, ,LS1, ABS and simpler things like air or A/C, just to name a few.

Being able to look for these and other items would be very benificial IMHO. Just a suggestion.

there are certain 3 letter words allowed. Id suggest sending a list via PM of the words you think should be added to Josh. He may be able to add in a few more. The issue with 3 letter words is it kills the server when it searches as well as pulls up alot of wrong results as the letters can be parts of other words etc..

PM him the suggestions and see where it goes.
