Just a little body work left and I will be ready to paint my 64. However I have a question about paint. Have a friend who owns a paint supply store and I have purchased Valspar base and clearcoat from him at what he said was a real good deal. My question for you experts is: is this a good paint and is it easy to work with, or did I get shafted by a friend? Thanks in advance for expert opinions.

Valspar makes some nice stuff. Their epoxy primer is real nice. Their basecoats are limited, if you are doing a complete then you will be fine, but trying to match an existing paint job will be harder. The I believe the number is 4400 clear is nice...Eric
