Are there any mounting differences between a fleetside and a stepside bed? I found an immaculate stepside bed for my 71 for $50. I would rather swap than spend the money repairing/replacing my fleetside bed. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

as long as they are both longbeds or both shortbeds then everything is cool. if you are going from wood floor to steel floor then you might need different crossbars. thats all i can think of. good luck, Ben
