One of my daughters is flying down from NY late Sat so we'll be there sunday - fingers crossed that all the stuff I want will be cheap so they don't have to carry it home.... then again, my luck, all the stuff I need will have been sold... hahahahaha..aaaaa......

Never been to one and was wondering what you all thought of dragging along a cart/wagon to haul stuff around on.... more of a pain in the butt than it's worth? I'm going to be looking for stuff for the top end of a 454 I'm building, brackets, intake, carb, valve covers, lifters, etc.. stuff that'll get heavy after a bit. Is it a pain to get out to your vehicle and back or easier to drag a cart around?

You want to carry cart with you for sure. They are calling for 60% chance of rain on sat. so I may go on fri. I am going to keep a watch on the weather before I make my mind up. (Carry a cart for sure)

They keep modifying the forcast for the worse :(

A couple days ago it was 30% chance and 73 degrees, now it's 60% and 70.

It rained last year I went, oh well, saturday is the only day I can go. I HAVE to go now, I need a new rear bumper for the truck :banghead:

Are there certain places for certain vehicles/parts vendors? I figure alot will be packing up early on Sunday and I'd like to head to the right spot as soon as I get there. I tried looking around on the net for maps/set up spots but didn't find anything

No, everything is totally scattered. I remember there being at least 10 (no joke) vendors there who sold new 67-72 parts. My big dissappointment for charlotte (compared to years of going to Carlisle) is that there was hardly ANY used sheetmetal there. There was a couple nice complete trucks for sale.

Good news, the weatherchannel shows the rain holding off until after 6 on saturday. I usually leave by 3 or 4 anyway. 7 hours of walking around is more than enough
