Hey Guys,
Option 1)
I have a 72 Chevy C10 LWB, I have been contemplating if I should give a descent exterior paint job. The paint is not horrible due to the fact it was paint by the previous owner 7 years ago. I would be staying with the same color red and trying to stay in the $3000 range.
I took my truck to a well-known paint and body shop that does good work. I simply asked them to quote an exterior paint job the same color (red). He sat me down and told me it would be around $6,500! And then proceeded to tell me it might be more?! I didnt want a show-stopper paint job just a nice fresh coat of red. Is that ridiculous or what?
I dont want an Earl Scheib or other quick shot painters to touch my truck.
Granted I do have some bubbles of paint in the lower most infamous part of the cab, nothing major anywhere.
Option 2)
OR JUST FORGET THE PAINT JOB AND SPEND OR SOMETHING ELSE?!
