It's gonna be hot and very humid. Make sure you have plenty to drink and some munchies for all day and into the evening. The nearst place to get gas or goodies to eat is 6 miles. I believe there will be plenty of shade and or canopies. Oh and even tho they just sprayed the yard I am bringing a can of Off for the ticks. :) I didn't want to come back home and I swear I saw Andy, Jason and Longhair in Rolla at a Motormart when I went though on my way home.

Oh and if you have Cingular forget about calling out from Boss's. I think one of the others works there.

So I went inside & a can of Fix O Flat, so i could get over to the air & fill up my tire so I could get down the street to the tire shop
I pull into the shop & have them put my spare on / buy some lug nuts that fit normal wheels

So after that we were back on the road again :metal:

So anyway, we get prolly 3 miles from Boss's & I notice my truck pulling to the right AGAIN ! :banghead:

So this morning I woke up to a flat spare & I was like "Crap, what am I gonna do now", SO I asked Boss if he had a spare 5 lug I could buy or borrow to go get some tires on the front

Anywho, after a little talking to some great folks I got these wheels & tires so I could get home

So today I couldn't get my truck to idle, but it was just a clogged fuel filter so it's an easy fix

Some of you may read this and think "This guys has had nothing but **** on this trip" But I have really enjoyed it, some little set backs aren't gonna stop me from enjoying this trip :cool:

so we (me and firedog) finally made it to norwood. we left with the 69 chevy and firedogs 68 chevy for our little (compared to everyone else) 3.5 hr trip. we got about 1.5 hr into it and firedog's truck started knocking so we stopped at a autoparts store in salem missouri and determined it was a rod. so we made a couple of phone calls and got a friend to come pick it up and drove off in the 69 leaving firedogs truck behind. it was great to meet everyone the attendence prizes were AMAZING!! a cowl hood wow! $100 dollar gift certificates thanks alot to those who donated. but we are now home and in search of a motor for firedogs truck.

Wanted to come but work comes first !! Some great stories , now I really wish I could have come !!

Good morning Norwood Mo. Way to soon it's time to say our goodbyes and make our ways back to home and try to start getting ready to go on with our lives. I hope that someone will take time to tell us, that for what ever reasons couldn't be there just what it was. I sure hope to make the next one wherever it is.

Just made it home. Long drive, but not as long as some. Sorry Ron, didn't bring the camera. Figured there were going to be tons of pics taken and I'd just get what I wanted off the board. You missed a great time.

I just got home also. Was out there for a while today then left right after lunch time. Hated to leave. Met so many great people this weekend there just wasn't enough time to talk with everyone like I would have liked. I will go d/l some pics now.

Had to leave a little early last night but had a great time and met some really great people. Visiting with Mudder, Llama, and Jamie72 friday night at the Days in was a good time also. Thanks for having us all down Boss, you are in the middle of some beautiful county and it was a nice trip down in the old 71.

AWSOME TIME!

My Verizon BlackBerry got signal and was able to callout. But like everyone else AT&T was a no show. But Boss's wireless internet worked fine from my popup.
