Well I rolled in at my place about 12:30 last night

Had minimal problems on the way home: Had to jump my truck off once, Got a warning for driving with no lights on, Had to drive in the dark with basically no lights through 30 miles of construction, Went to wal-mart & bought a couple of batteries, But I made it home

Yeah, I was driving in the dark with no lights
I just followed this car so I could use his lights & I was fine, then I missed my turn & we came to this town & I knew there was a cop sitting there but I just didn't turn my lights on (guess I was too tired to think) & the rest is history

Also, I think I ran my truck as empty without running out as I ever have
It took like 21.3 gallons to fill it up

Glad you made it home! That truck gave you quite an adventure this trip, but at least it wasn't anything too serious!

Glad you made it home man. And I am really glad you showed up. Everyone was amazed at you, your truck, and everything about you and your truck combined.

I dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but hey, it is what it is!
I know I had a cool time with you hangin out over by my tent.

When you get rested, you have to start posting some of the pictures you took. Looks like you recorded everything. By doing so, with the addition of all the ones posted already, maybe next year there can be a much larger turnout where ever it is. There are a lot of people, who live much closer then those who showed up, that didn't come. By reading all the posts and seeing all the pictures they can see what a great time it was.
Even my wife who doesn't like much of what I do, after seeing the pictures here and listening to me, says she kinda of wishes she would have gone. NOW THAT SAYS SOMETHING........
It was a nice, relaxing(after driving) get together that many would have enjoyed.
Glad you made it home safe (and with only a warning ticket).

Glad to hear you made it home with little trouble.... I think your truck is in pretty good shape. Some primer and a paint job, you'd be set... Well almost set. Whats your address? I want to ship you some real good spray lube! You need to hit every moving part in your front end, lol... I think its beyond a grease gun. Time to just start going nuts with some spray. I missed taking a pic under the hood. I got to see it though, looks to be a pretty sweet motor.

Guess it was contagious, but I had to buy a new battery Saturday nite after the cruise to the truck stop for Blackberry cobbler. Was heading back, after having to be jumped at the Days Inn (after my Saturday nite shower) and then again at the truck stop. Was heading south through the town square and my lite kept getting dimmer, so went back to the Walmart (at 12:03am) and bought a new one, but got refunded on my old one since it was less than a year old. Will have to verify it was just the battery by doing some nite time driving and see if the blinker starts slowing down again.

Did the hood in the bed make it without incident?

That would have been a great picture! All that stuff in the back and a hood to top it off. Wish I had grabbed my camera. :)

Yeah, it needs to be rebuilt
I have my bags in the mail & am ordering my rebuild parts this week

I'm content with my paint for now
I plan on getting it strait & putting Blitz Black on it, one piece at a time :metal:
Then maybe one day I'll decide to go something other than satin black

Did the hood in the bed make it without incident?

Yup, didn't move a bit... I think it really did help my mileage, being all tilted up like a wing (got about 11 or 12 MPG)

I got a pic of it before I unloaded, so I'll post it up here in a few

You prolly can't see it, but my truck was covered in bug guts
So I washed it today (I'll get pics of it clean tomorrow)

Norwood survivor... I like that!
Those oil leaks suck huh? Mine looks liek that, it sprays enough to get on the HUB CAP on the right rear... and you KNOW it gets the pipes, so no one tailgates me if I get on the freeway anymore.
