First off, I must say that the few people I was able to meet Thursday are the best. Unfortunately, I got a call from my sister Friday morning telling me my 86 year old grandmother was in the hospital. It was then my job to call my parents (who were in Indiana for a weekend wedding) and tell my mom that her mother was in the hospital. We all made tracks for Florida. Without going into a lot of details, the doctor says she's had a series of what he calls 'mini strokes'. Currently she is alert, knows who we are and whats happening. The doctor has told us that it is very possible that she will never leave the hospital. All we can do is hope and pray that she will.

That said, I feel like I need to apologize to those I didnt get to meet. I regret not being able to be a part of this gathering, but my heart just wasnt in it after the news. I know a ton of people spent a good amount of time planning and making this event possible.

For James, Margaret, Bob, Jacki, Josh, Liz and Robb.....I consider it an honor getting to finally meet you and call you friends. For Daryl and Tammy, my most sincere apologies about missing your renewal. For the rest, my only hope is to be able to see some if not all of you at the Maggie Valley meet.

I remain....Torb

I kept watching for that yellow car on my way home Thursday but never saw it. Family always comes first and here's hoping your grandmother makes a good recovery.

I'm pretty sure I passed you on 76 on my way in Thursday night. How many yellow Chargers could there be in Norwood right? Anyhow, sorry we didn't get to meet and I wish you the best for your Grandma.

I think you passed Me, Woodridge, GMCJunkie, and Yellow69 Friday around
11:30am ish on Hwy 60 near Cabool headed East? Like Mike said above, it
was a Yellow charger and it was flying. Missed meeting you also, but family
ALWAYS comes 1st, anyone who doesn't understand it is not a true friend.

Sorry that we didn't get the chance to meet up, we didn't arrive until late Friday evening.

I thought that we where going to be in the same boat my great uncle (97 years old) was admitted again while we where away but he is still hanging in there. He keeps stumping the doctors, they give him 24 hours, the family all comes up to the hospital, then a week later they let him out, he spends the afternoon at home and then we start over again.

We went through that with my Wife's Grandma for a couple of years. It's horrible for all parties involved.
