BACKYARD88 07-10-2007, 04:46 PM Here are some of my pics with my not-so-great camera phone. I'll try and post some more when I can get to a computer that works better.

LUV2XCLR8 07-10-2007, 06:14 PM Mike, did you put that one of your wife in there to distract us
from looking at all the trucks? That's just so, so, so wrong
 BTW that hill is a helluva lot steeper than it looks in the pic!
Longhorn Man 07-10-2007, 06:38 PM http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v412/BACKYARD88/IMAGE_286.jpg
I can hear it squeeking now!
augie 07-10-2007, 07:05 PM I can hear it squeeking now!
:haha:
bobbo 07-10-2007, 09:15 PM That squeak is worse than the energizer bunny. Beyond going and going. I can still hear it from Texas! :) We loved the truck Spray Bomb and were really impressed with it. You are truly a hero in my book!
Longhorn Man 07-10-2007, 09:45 PM yep, we luv ya...that's why we rag on you! (said in a totally hetero way)
bobbo 07-10-2007, 09:47 PM (said in a totally hetero way)
Ummmmmmm.....Yeah, and if you believe that....the whole ocean front property in Arizona ring a bell????
Spray-Bomb 07-10-2007, 10:00 PM Ya'll crack me up
Yeah, if you thought that squeak is bad
It started popping on the way home & it was F'n loud, but it stopped after a while
Longhorn Man 07-10-2007, 10:16 PM When they stop making noise... is when I get scared.
bobbo 07-11-2007, 05:47 AM When they stop making noise... is when I get scared.
So very true. Need to check it out Spray Bomb. Something either broke or is really close to being broke. Either that or your truck is posessed and fixes itself, which in all honesty would not surprise me about your ride. :)
Oh, the guy that hitched a ride is giving the guy that drove there the biz about a squeak. Thats just not right...
You didn't hear it squeaking!;)
Longhorn Man 07-11-2007, 02:50 PM thanks krue... you are dead on right... he didn't hear it.
Spray bomb took it all in good stride, the kid actually impressed me on more than one level.
LUV2XCLR8 07-11-2007, 03:06 PM Spray bomb took it all in good stride, the kid actually impressed me on more than one level.
:agree:
Custom 68 07-11-2007, 04:57 PM :agree:
I didnt hear it? You are right, I wasnt there...
Actually corn you may have been close enough to hear it. It was pretty loud.
BACKYARD88 07-11-2007, 05:23 PM Actually corn you may have been close enough to hear it. It was pretty loud.
:agree:
Longhorn Man 07-11-2007, 06:18 PM it was real funny when spray bomb's number got called on the door prise. I think it was backyard88 who yelled;
"is there a grease gun on that trailer?!?!"
:haha:
Spray-Bomb 07-11-2007, 06:30 PM The whole thing was funny as sh!t
Every time I look at this thread I LMAO !!!
Spray-Bomb 07-11-2007, 06:33 PM your truck is posessed and fixes itself, which in all honesty would not surprise me about your ride. :)
I think it is... Kinda like Herbie   :o
One of my dads 67's rolls it's driver side window up & the other day mine did the same thing
I was like WTF, no more hanging with dads truck... Bad truck, No No !!!
BACKYARD88 07-11-2007, 10:59 PM You're a good sport Matt. It's good to hang with a group of people who can give AND take the ribbing without anyone getting their feelings hurt. BTW, I checked out your VW thread. Looks like as good of progress as squeaky bomb:D
I was impressed with Matt's ride not necessarily the ride itself, but the ride it made to get there. It's funny how I whined and worried about mine making a trip that long and Matt just hopped in and drove.
By the way, I love how Mike didn't respond to the comment about his wife. She was very pretty. I think Mike's safe by my comment. The beautiful women don't usually dig the chubby guys. I'm more surprised Andy hadn't made a comment yet :) It's usually Andy who sees a wife or girlfriend in the back and makes a comment.
LUV2XCLR8 07-24-2007, 06:51 PM Matt actually inspired me to drive to Ron 586's cookout, I figured what
the hell, I can do it, and if not .............................. I have towing :D
woodridge 07-24-2007, 10:14 PM And you made it just fine didn't you.
Longhorn Man 07-24-2007, 10:32 PM I don't know either of them well enough to make a comment. Plus, in all reality, I've had quite a bit distracting me as of lately.
LonghornJeff 07-25-2007, 12:15 AM OK Andy I am confused......who owned the silver stepside that you voted for?
I don't know either of them well enough to make a comment.
Like that's stopped you before. :) After all the pics we've posted from cookouts and Maggie Valley there's always consistent Andy that says "who's the girl in the blue top?" You're the man, Andy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by the way, great meeting you Mike. I love your truck and the wheels look very familiar
BACKYARD88 07-26-2007, 09:53 AM You couldn't say anything I haven't heard before Andy. When we go out it's usually to "lifestyle" clubs and there's all kinds there. You have to be able to handle it all:lol:
Do you get any vibration at highway speeds with those wheels Brian? I think she hit a curb and doesn't want to tell me:rolleyes:
Actually, I do get a little vibration, but just at certain speeds which is probably just a balance issue. But I've never had the wheels and tires balanced and rotated since I've owned it(Dec).
BACKYARD88 07-26-2007, 09:20 PM Hers are the same way. Every time I balance them the vibration is at different speeds.
Longhorn Man 07-28-2007, 09:56 PM Jeff, I voted for 5150 Artist formerly known as yellow69's silver stepside... the one with the ghost flames.
Mike... please define 'lifestyle clubs' for me... I think *HOPE* you don't mean the kind of lifestyle club I am thinking of.
BACKYARD88 07-28-2007, 10:39 PM I'm sure it's the kind you're thinking of. "Swingers" club. We don't participate in the swinging, but we're not a conventional couple either. It's a more friendly group of people than most other clubs here.
