Is there any way to put someone on an "ignore" list, so that you don't see their posts or anything? I know different forums do this but I don't see it here.
Thanks.
Thanks.

GREASEMONKEY72 08-31-2007, 07:35 PM i know theres a buddy/ignore list if you go to there profile but im not sure if itll block thier posts or not xtreme80 08-31-2007, 07:40 PM That did it. I blocked the user, and now when I go to a thread with their posts, it gives me a message where their post is saying it's hidden because that user is blocked. Some people never have anything positive to say  Truck Hippy 08-31-2007, 07:44 PM Dam. You must really hate someone here. I hope it isn't me:lol: Alexis 08-31-2007, 07:45 PM Dam. You must really hate someone here. I hope it isn't me:lol: you'll never know, lol:lol: xtreme80 08-31-2007, 07:51 PM haha... I wouldn't say hate, I just don't like reading post after post from someone who has nothing good to say. No names mentioned as I don't wanna start any problems. But there is no hidden post in this thread yet  Truck Hippy 08-31-2007, 07:53 PM :metal: Thanks man!! Haha PM me and give it a go. And now that I figured out how to do it, maybe I'll start blockin all of you! haha just kidding EAST SIDE LOW LIFE 09-01-2007, 11:14 PM Now this is negative! esll. :) Liz 09-02-2007, 09:38 AM Actually its a question on how to use a feature on the site. A long time ago we had a member whom liked to use it and would post the word *plonk* everytime he did. All that happens when someone uses it, is they lose out. No offense to anyone in this thread.. ignoring a user does nothing but make replies not make sense and mess up your view on things. Ya'll have the right to use it all you want, but its kinda like taking your ball and going home because someone something you dislike. As far as discussions about whom and who to ignore... thats not gonna fly. It creates issues and hate within the community. If you wish to ignore someone, go for it.. but do so without broadcasting it to start crap within the forums EAST SIDE LOW LIFE 09-02-2007, 11:21 AM Actually its a question on how to use a feature on the site. What I was surprised about is the "CRAP" that you are referring to that I was starting to read here. This is the sort of thing that degrades the site. esll, :) Liz 09-02-2007, 08:44 PM Which is pretty much what I said... I'm glad you agree. corn 09-02-2007, 08:56 PM I thought Plonk was that red wine that comes in a box. screamin_eagle 09-12-2007, 06:14 PM hmm I wonder how many people have blocked me? Lol. brianthelion02 09-13-2007, 12:32 PM Well dang,im a newbie too!!!!!!!!!   67_C-30 09-13-2007, 09:41 PM http://home.student.uu.se/anhe8197/can_t_we_all_just_get_along.jpg jamis 09-14-2007, 03:16 PM can you see me now LOL I always thought that feature was for blocking PM only. I wouldn’t like to block out a post just because there is always something to learn from it even if it doesn’t make any sense....you wouldn’t know how little sense it made till you read it. raggedjim 09-14-2007, 03:27 PM Nuclear was the "King of Plonk"... papawswrench 10-01-2007, 08:29 PM Oh yes, Nucleus! Probably best that he is no longer here! brianthelion02 10-01-2007, 10:43 PM Wheww,i can get along with anybody!!!!!!!! 70cst 10-10-2007, 06:55 AM The key to "Plonking" is just saturate them with "Happy Thoughts.":):hm:;) My father-in law use to say..."When you see someone doing something you do not like...then learn not to emulate the persons action." :gi: I sort of thought that if one owned a Chev/GMC they would automatically be happy. Oh I know! I Know what is wrong?? Maybe that person owns a F**d and has Chevy'GMC envy!! :haha: |
