I came here with an invite from 67shortie. But found while registering that I was already registered back in 2000 and never made a single post! That was back when I got my computer and on line, I was WAY overwhelmed with the whole thing. I now am an autobody forum prostitute and can't walk past the computer without checking out the posts! :)

Anyway, hello to all. I have a Chopped and sectioned 1948 Chevy (duh) pickup that is sitting in my back yard behind two other projects (only because they are much closer to completion). I have owned it since before I married my exwife, had two kids that are now adults, had a body shop for 13 years, divorced, remarried, had two more kids, etc. This thing is the one constant thing in my life since 1974! I hope to get it done again and back on the road, it deserves it.

Martinsr,

I have enjoyed lots of your post on Autobodystore.net !
The information that you gave as well as the support from this forum gave me the confidance as well as the knowledge to help
me in my first paint project. I will post pictures but beware
it is not a truck but a jeep.

thanks and welcome.

Glad to know I have been of help. Hearing that I have helped bring someone to "take the plunge" and do something they didn't think they could do is the pay back I want. That is great to hear. I love this work and have since I was 15 years old. If I can pass that on, it sure feels good.
