Shane 09-06-2007, 03:06 PM shouldn't be ANY drops coming from the gun, at all BACKYARD88 09-06-2007, 03:22 PM :agree: If there's ANY water you need to get a good filter. I use a canister filter at the wall and a small plastic disposable filter at the gun and it works fine. Kevin45 09-06-2007, 05:28 PM I think he may be talking about the custom paint that you use water drops then spray over them like >X< did http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/attachment.php?attachmentid=295903&stc=1&d=1188786790 Shane 09-06-2007, 05:36 PM oh ... ok ... in that case, you shouldn't be using a "gun" ... you should be using an airbrush ... BACKYARD88 09-06-2007, 05:39 PM I'm gonna have to bow out on that one. I've never don it before. Mike 85 09-06-2007, 10:19 PM Dubies got you lined out. ALWAYS test the gun psi and distance BEFORE you add paint. Do a "dry" run with just air first to make SURE you got it figured out. Nothing worse than spraying paint and water scrambling all over the place. One member uses a pump up sprayer instead of a squirt bottle and it does do a better job IMO. Kinda like an actual rain. Fraser adds a little Glycerin to the water which supposedly helps it adhere better. |
