So- what kind of "stuff" on a Shingle do you eat? And what is your favorite shingle type?
I used to be mostly goulash on bread or chilli on crackers
but I'm starting to branch out. Yesterday I stacked Lasagne on Texas toast, today it was on saltines and it didn't seem like leftovers.
Our neighbor was talking about making beef stew, I think it would be real good on Hawaiian bread.
What do you like for SOS?

You're not pregnant are you?????...:hm: .. That sounds like some of the stuff my wife ate when she was in a family way... All kidding aside we usually use dried beef or tuna in a white sauce, on white toast.

Chicken ala King over toast (I prefer wheat, but white's good, too).
Chili over burger or hot-dog buns.
Ranch Style Beans over white bread. (a recipe left over from the '70s ;) )

My mom makes spinach dip a few times a year. that's about all I put over either bread or crackers, whatever I'm in the mood for.

S.O.S. has always been chip beef gravy on toast around my area.I didn`t know it was a general reference.Still learnin`.We do sausage gravy, too. But,a waitress will bring the chip beef if you ask for S.O.S.,that is if she doesn`t slap you.

Dad used to talk about Army SOS from his early WWII days, but I figure if it's some kind of S on some kind of S, it probably qualifies.
