Edit: This is the first of many changes that will be made here. So check this post weekly at the least. We have decided to expand my cookout a little and host the third annaul 67-72chevytruck board meet for 2008. So now it has become a 3 day meet running from July11-13 2008. I'm working on getting motel room rates and trying to get a group rate if we rent a block of rooms. Watch thread for updates. If you want to stay on site that's great. Everything from a sleeping bag in the bed of your truck, tent, camper trailers, to the largest motor coach is welcome. The town of Big Sandy is 4 miles away and can meet most all your needs of service. Stay tuned for news.

I had planned to have a neat little map for directions but I can't make it happen. So I'll do the best I can. Coming from the north get on 641 south coming out of Paris, Tennessee and going toward Camden, Tn. You will go 10-12 miles and leave Henry county and enter Benton county when you cross the Big Sandy river. About a mile after that you will see a sign for the Rockman Store at a little country store on your right. Turn LEFT on lower Big Sandy road at the store and follow it 3-4 miles you will come around a slight curve to the right and drop off a small hill and cross a narrow bridge leading to a long straight away. When you get to the top of the next hill turn RIGHT on Tom White Rd. 1/2 mile up the road on your left is 586 Tom White Rd, There is a 911 sign at the end of the driveway as well as a street sign with OMS WAY HOME on it.
If you are coming from the south get on 641 north going toward Paris Tn. When you come through Camden Tn. come on about 6-7 miles and watch for a sign Rockman Store on your left. Turn RIGHT on Lower Big Sandy Rd. and follow directions above to my home. If this is not clear or you get lost call me.

It is far enough ahead that you and the boss should try to make it. It's a family thing let everyone come and have a ball.

I believe that falls out to were I probably won't be able to make it. I'm off for the week before it, but work nights that weekend. As far as taking vacation goes, I'd have to burn 48 hours to make it worthwhile, probably not gonna happen.:(

I know how that is 3.25 a gal for diesel maybe I need to get a gasser to drive.

My driveway is smooth and level. All the area that will be used for parking is smooth also. We'll have it groomed and ready so bring it on.

I got the prelimanary ok from the "mean" Boss today to make a road trip. Now I just have to see what the Boss that signs the paycheck has in store for that month. P.S. anyone going though Michigan That wants to pull a ~3000 lb camper and share a ride I'll split gas/driving and you'll have a queen size bed to sleep on lol later Glen

It's West Tennessee, Big Sandy, Tn. 38221 We are in the North West not far off the Ky. line. We're looking forward to having a good North East turnout and will help anyway we can.

We will be there as long as everything goes as planned. No clue as to whether or not the truck will be there, though.
