Ok guys how do you all like to cook up any game that you hunt? I am a big venison fan but still want to hear all your all's ideas about any form of game.

Normally for deer I just fry up the back straps in an iron skillet with a flour/cornbread batter. You can't beat it thats for sure.

Or if you have your meat processed deer brats are amazing. Take them and boil them in your favorite beer for a little while, then throw them on the grill, amazing!

Ok guys there are my two favorite ways to enjoy deer, so what are yours?

I fry or grill the backstraps, they're the best!

My next favorite is canned deer meat, much better than deer burger IMHO. It's great right out of the jar, or as BBQ loose meat sandwich, or in an omlette, in a plane, on a train...ect.:lol:

Also real good to smoke a whole hind quarter.

As for other game;

Can't beat turkey baked in one of those oven bags...so juicy.

Squirrels are par boiled, de-boned, and put in pot pie with mushroom gravy, potatoes, carrots, peas, onions, whatever you like.

And rabbits are good par boiled, quartered and breaded then fried in olive oil.

Man, this forum makes me hungry! :lol:

I like fried back strap. A little lemon pepper then milk then flour. Also, ground Venison in some chili. Squirrel(or Rabbit) and rice(no heads please):lol: Had some smoked Emu once but it was kinda tough.
