As with the chili thread, I'll bring my recipie in. The base for it is Jack Daniels BBq sauce. And also, like my chili, the BBQ recipie makes ALOT of sauce. But you could always divide it down to a smaller batch. I'll get back to ya....I love this new sub-forum! Maybe I should have been a cook.:o

Ok, got it here.

6 bottles Jack Daniels BBQ - There's about 5-6 different flavors. (mix flavors, whatever you like)

1 cup honey

3/4 cup teriyaki

1 1/2 tsp. mesquite liquid smoke

3/4 Tblsp. habenero mash - more or less to taste

1 Tblsp. molasses

1 Tblsp. soy sauce

-Mix it all together and baste on meat

MMMmmmmm:)

1 cup brown sugar
1 tbl spoon kosher salt
1 tbl spoon pepper
1 tbl spoon paprika
mix well.
Soak ribs in Captain Morgans spiced rum overnight, pour off rum and pat dry.
Rub dry mix on ribs and bake in a 250 degree oven for 4 hours.
I usually finish on the grill for a few minutes each side to add a crust and darken them but you could always do it under the broiler.

i hate to give my reciepes. but here goes....
1 cup of sweetbaby rays bbq suace
pinch of salt <sea salt
pinch of pepper
2 tblsp black mollases
1/4 cup wishishire sauce
2 tblsp lemon
1/4 stick of butter
mix all in a bowl or bag and microwave for 30/45 sec
grab your favorite rib rub we use emralds rib rub< red bottle> and rub both sides heavy
grab a piece of alluminum foil about 8 inches longer than the ribbs
put ribbs on foil and wrap around starting from the middle
close on end completely
leave other end open and pour your sauce in , close end up and put in oven on med heat or 300 for 2.5 hours
about 1 hour into it
pull ribbs out and add sauce if needed
this is a modified version of a family reciepe, but its real close lol i only left out one thing
usally i will smoke them for another 30 mins.
i just add the ribbs (still in the foil) to the dry side of my grille. then i place hickery wood chips. in foil with just a little water .on the wet side of my grille
the smoking is not neccesary.......i gaurentee that if you do this like it is written....that these will be the juiciest best tasting , ribbs you ve ever had well i hope so................tony

My buddy, a truck driver who end up stuck without a load from time to time,
who lives in Ohio made Roxy and I some in our big arse Turkey roaster. WOW
was I impressed, took most of the day but gosh were they awesome. Fall of

Ol Rusty,I don't unnerstand. What do you mean it's too cold to B-B-Q outdoors?I have been known to cook in a parka and muckalucs. The cooler it is outside the easier it is to slow cook on the grill.
Luvs trucker friend must be a heck of a cook to have impressed him.I seen Luv eat ribs.
