There's nothing better then Mexican food!!

Im more of a Japanese food lover my self.

I declare the burrito as American food, thats right where stealing it.

If it's Tex-Mex I'm in. Can't eat this wanna b, North of Dallas, trendy Mexican dishes.

Nachos Supreme with plenty of meat, cheese and just about anything else I can think of putting on it. Gotta have plenty of beer too to wash it down. I just can't eat too soon before bedtime. Acid reflux is a killer.

Oh, and pico de gallo. Man, that is some good stuff.

My pico:

1 large tomato
about 4 or 5 tomatillos
1 medium sized onion - not Vidalia, I like the regular "hot" kind for pico
a good dose of cilantro - not too overpowering
jalapenos to taste

Soak for a few hours in common white vinegar. Then drain most of it off and add salt to taste and about 1 Tbsp lime juice. Stir thouroughly and dip with chips. Awesome! (Can be scaled for a larger quantity. I have too usually because there's not enough! :hm:)

Burritto's,tamales.enchiladas,refried black or pinto beans(not too crazy about rice in any form but I will at least eat mexican rice)My wife is of Hispanic/Italian ancestory so I get lots of good eats.Supper around here is quite time,I like to hear my arteries harden.

We have an all you can eat Mexican place in Johnson city thats were we ate lunch today I always end up eating way to much.

I love Carne Asada, HOMEMADE tamales,Fajitas,Enchiladas,Tacos,Tostadas, heck anything Mexican. My wife & I usually have Mexican food every Saturday night.

I love Mexican food, but if it is cooked at home. :lol: I would say some of my favorites are tamales, posole, sopes, tripas. mmmm

I have yet to see a real Mexican food place. As Ken stated, there are some really good Tex-Mex. I had never heard of such a thing as sopapillas or chimichangas in my life until I went to a Tex-Mex restaurant.

When I go out, it is usually Chineese or American. I am all for some good Bar-b-que.

Mexican taco shop tacos, the kind you get in San Diego down in the Chula Vista and San Ysidro area. (doubled up corn tortilla, filled with chopped Carne Asada (they have many other toppings too- dont ask) onion, cilantro, and habanero sauce)

If its tex mex, i'll take a chimichanga or fajitas
