I'm addidicted to diet mountain dew, but I don't care as much for their "tuned up taste" so going back to diet coke. Can't drink the non-diet drinks the sugar is too much for me.

PEPSI

I would love to have a 12 oz in a glass bottle.

Up here on Prince Edward Island it was illegal to sell a carbonated beverage in anything else but a glass bottle up until this past summer. We where out there 2 years ago on our honeymoon and it was stepping back in time carrying home a glass bottle, and returning it for a refund when it was empty. The province didn't want to have to start a plastics recycling program to handle the
vast amount of plastics that they anticipated. However with all of the plastic water bottles being thrown out they decided to change their views on it.

Back to the question on hand now:

Has to be Coke. I have actually stopped buying it at home now though, in favour of more room in the downstairs fridge for healthier beverages. I was addicted to the stuff, now that it is not here I don't miss it as much.

We have a fridge at work stocked with Coke and water, now I am trying to just grab a water but the temptation is always there to grab the soda.

Coke when I'm not dinking a Dt. Dew. On glass bottles, I had a roomate from Stephenville, TX ( I know there's at least one member from there) who would always bring back a case of original cane sugar formula Dr Pepper in the glass bottle with the metal cap. I'd drink 3 or 4 before he woke up the next morning... It was AWESOME

As a vending machine owner I've talked with a few Pepsi reps and they've admitted without Mt. Dew, Pepsi would be like RC.

Here in Texas (and other border states I'm sure), we can get "Mexican Cokes" which come in the big (16oz I think) long neck bottles. I'm not sure what are friends from south of the border put in them but they taste pretty darn good and they're pretty cheap to boot. I don't think there's anything better than a Coke from an ice cold bottle.

When the winter Olympics were here in '02 (Salt Lake) a Coke guy called the cops on me for liking Pepsi. Coke, of course, was a major corperate sponser of the games, and in Park City the had this huge tent set up where the people could go and trade their various Olympic pins. I guess that kind of thing is fairly popular, and since I had a few pins that were specially made for our company-we built a couple of the venues-I thought I'd see what they were worth. I was walking into this tent when the doorman tells me I can't come in since I had a Pepsi in my hand. "You gotta be sh*tin' me" "Nope" he says. "Company policy". I say "Whatever" and I start to leave and he stops me and asks "So what will it take to get you to drink Coke?" I say that a good start would be for them to start making the sh*t taste like Pepsi, and this clown starts freaking out. Clearly, I was an agitator, and the games were just a few months after 9/11 so he starts calling for security. I figured I'd better go ahead and split before the cops got there, and I ducked into the liquor store where my wife was working and hid out for an hour or so.

Thing is, I don't mind coke. I prefer Pepsi, but cola is cola as long as it's got a little Crown Royal in it.

Coke - If I remember correctly the Mexican bottled coke uses pure cane sugar and it was available at Costco (don't know if it still is or not).

Diet Pepsi here, caffiene free at home, which generally means evening.

Pritch, here in Columbus we had a similar problem at the Ohio State Fair. A few years ago Coke won the contract to be exclusive at the fair, which menat the entire grounds. To most food vendors this was no problem, BUT...
Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and KFC are owned by Pepsi. Of course they refuse to sell Coke, but the exclusivity contract stopped them from selling Pepsi products. Water, lemonade and iced tea only at those places.

Similarly ASU (nice no show at the Holiday Bowl) is a Pepsi campus. It was odd going to Burger King and being served a Pepsi in a cup with Coke logos.

Diet Coke if I need a shot of energy, but normally, neither one. If I drink too many it makes my teeth sensitive. I know, weird, but it's probably something with the acid in it.

Diet Coke over Diet Pepsi. However, for about a year now I seldom drink cola at all. Now it is Diet Big Red or Diet A&W Rootbeer. It makes me feel better. There is a story to this but I don't think you want to here it.

If its not Cherry Coke, its gotta be a coke product or Mt. dew. I cant swallow Pepsi for some reason. Stuff gets stuck in my throat.

Lately I'm addicted to Cherry Coke Zero. They don't sell it up here, so I always pick up a case or two when I go to the states. (I only live 10 minutes away from the border, and I go to Washington State once a week) Incidentally, soft drinks are one of the few things that are cheaper in Canada than the U.S. Having the variety is worth it though for the extra buck or two.

COKE IS IT :metal:
I get my Mexican cokes at Costco by the case, and yeah they use real sugar and not that fructose syrup that everybody else is using, have to agree there is nothing better than an ice cold Coke out of the bottle :ito:

I quit drinking diet Pepsi a year ago when I gave up all carbonated drinks. Water is it now. Prior to that it was 6-8 20 oz bottles a day.

Does anyone remember Quench? It is similiar to Squirt only stronger.
