I'd be lost without the stuff I mix up that's kinda like Tony's but with no salt or MSG. I've been told I should sell the stuff, but then I might get rich and not know how to act.:D

McCormick`s rocks!!Dey got da spice y`all.I love driving near there and smelling what they`re grinding.Sometimes I`ll work near enough to smell the spices from miles away. They have all these new rubs now,I just saw last night.
I can`t live w/o spices...period!

Allegro marinade -- its pretty strong - kind of like Dale's -- so you can overdo it if it sits too long tho -- 1 hour tops, for a very good steak or chicken breast without any drama sweating over "just the right marinade combo"

garlic, onion, celantro, salt and pepper are all a must.

Everything else is optional depending on what your cooking.

Salt. Duh.

Tony Chachere's: http://www.cajunspice.com/

Cavender's greek seasoning: http://www.greekseasoning.com/

Louisiana hot sauce

Jane's mixed up salt: http://www.spicesgalore1.com/jankrazmixsa.html

I recently bought Everglades seasoning but the verdict is still out on how much i like it or whether it could replace my staples above: http://www.evergladesseasoning.com/

+1 for the Lowery's seasoned salt.

Good stuff for grillin' any kind of meat, and on most anything else you'd put regular salt on.

Im a huge fan of Stubb's marinades. ever since I started using a little beef marinade in my burgers ive had an influx of people coming over! Of course that is in part due to my favorite dry seasoning (besides salt) ...McCormicks Hamburger seasoning...dang fine stuff.

i use it on a lot of my meats and in a lot of my sides, and especially on my hamburgers. it's my alternative to mexican chili powder. i really like it ... A LOT. it goes really well mixed in with salad dressings.
