I posted this here a few years ago so I thought Id do it again. Its good stuff.
9x11 pan
1 & 1/2 cups white sugar. You will sit aside 1/2 cup later.
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon plus a bit more to shake on top when put together
1 stick Butter (melted)
3 - 8 oz packages of cream cheese (Room Temperature or carefully soften in microwave a little at a time, and please.. take it out of the foil wrapper first)
2 cans crescent rolls
2 16 oz cans apple pie filling (peach works too)
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix cinnamon with the sugar, set a side one half cup of it for later use.
Stir Cream cheese till.. well.. creamy.. then mix cream cheese with the 1 cup of cinnamon/sugar then mix in the vanilla.
Place one can of rolls (lay them out) in the bottom of 9x13 pan. Pour cheese mixture over dough and then pour both cans of apples over that.
Place other can of crescent rolls over cheese mixture.
Evenly pour the 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon over the top of the rolls then pour the stick of melted butter on top of that and shake a bit more cinnamon on top.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 or until brown and bubbly.
Let cool on counter top till you're sure it wont burn the crap out of your mouth.
Some people like it warm, some like it cold from the fridge.
