Chili has to be one of my favorite foods.
I ate this twice a day for 3-4 months, helped me put some muscle on
It is a healthier recipe but still damn good IMO
2 large onions chopped
2 large tomatoes chopped
4 bellpepers red, green, yellow, orange 1 each 1/2 squares
12 cloves garlic (I love garlic) chopped
2 46oz bottles of V8 spicy hot
4lbs ground beef (lean if you want, I don't)
4 cans kidney beans
1lb carrots
4tbsp chili powder
1sp cumin
2tsp paprika
1tsp fresh ground pepper
1tsp celery seed
ground ground beef with spices onions and garlic
add ground beef to very large pot with a lid than add rest of ingredients bring to a boil and reduce to simmer, longer it simmers the better it seems.
This is by far not a traditional chili recipe and I will probably get someone from Texas laughing at me, but it is adapted to be healthier and tastes damn good IMO, not as thick as most chili's but corn meal, etc would kind of ruin the reasoning behind it.
