I can take Krystal, but not very often. There was a time when it was about the only thing that would cure the munchies late after a 'night on the town'. Hmmmm. Maybe that's why I have acid reflux. lol

Places like Long John Silvers, Captain D's, Hardees are some of the ones I never even gave a chance.

And while I know it isn't much/any better than any of the rest of em, I have a problem with Krystal cravings.

Oh yeah, KFC & Wendy's because they support gun control, Long John Silver's & Chili's because it's too salty, Krystal because they're gross even when you're drunk and they put the salt and pepper in the same stinkin shaker.

I am only 100% anti on Burger King and IHOP.
Everything else I can tolerate pretty much, although I don't always like it.

There is a place called China Kitchen in Sevierville that I will never eat at again.

I was an electrician for about 9 years and worked at alot of these places, and let me tell you they are all about the same.

The only one I refuse to even walk into is western sizzlin. The one here is so bad the floor is sticky after they clean up and before they open it's still sticky. Might not be so bad but it was the whole floor not just spots and I won't tell you about the vent system.

Just about any buffet-only place is off the list (except for a place called Fire Mountain - i dont know if it is a chain or if its Oklahoma only.

Most of the burger places (Hardees, Carls Jr, Wendys, BK, McD's - etc.) I normally stay out of, but in a pinch , one of their "small" cheeseburgers and a side salad will not kill you

I like Long John Silvers and Waffle House - but only eat at either , maybe once every 6 months or so , because of the grease content at both

IHOP... I usually avoid most 'chain' resturants in general though.

Place called Aunt Catfish in Fl. I did the refrigeration in that place for years. One step in the kitchen and no o ne would ever eat there. All I have to say is fly crusted Baked Beans and a floor so disgusting I had to throw a pair of work boots away to get rid of the smell.

We have (or had) a Fire Mountain outside of Jackson. Owned by the same folks that have Ryans. I stuck to the stuff they were cooking hot on the grill. I figure I can open canned corn, beans, etc...at home.

A place called the Sea Hag in Depoe Bay Oregon. I ordered a big bucket of steamed clams there a couple years back when I was on Holidays with my wife(then fiance). It was the night that I proposed to her on and was up all night yakking my brains out. I'm pretty sure they used red tide clams. I now can't stand the thought of eating shellfish of any kind.

BurgerKing is about the only chain I won't eat at, any Fish place is the worst. I grew up eating fish fresh from the water(almost still swimming) so the restaurant stuff is gross to me.

Any of you guys ever get to Nebraska, DO check out Runza and try anything on the menu, you will not be disappointed. Local chain started in Lincoln, very serious about quality, cleanliness and taste!

Denny's, due to several bad incidents. Texas Roadhouse ( Louisiana Roadhouse in Louisiana- same owners).
I don't go to Joe's Crab Shack very often because they peg me as I come in the door as a guy that won't buy a bunch of appetizers and drinks, so I get very poor service.
When I was truck driving, I tore up the buffet at several Shoney's AYCE buffets, but they have disappeared around here.

I am a refrigeration thec. for a local dairy and have milk boxes in a lot of local restaurants and cafeterias in the area. The worst I have ever saw was a local university. They have such a roach problem that I had to replace a thermostat on the box three times in a span of four months:barf:. The third time I got the call I took a roach motel with me. Have not had a call back in about a year.:lol:

No BK, any buffet or processed fish stuff. I grew up Catholic by a big lake so I know what real fish taste like. Everytime I eat at Cracker Barrel, I get sick, hence the nickname in my house Crapperbarrel.

No it's not lane COLLEGE. BUT I will tell you that it is probably the bigest and most expensive UNIVERSITY in Jackson. I probably do not need to say it by name;).

I will not eat at Olive Garden or any other corporate owned Italian chain. There are plenty of family owned and run authentic Italian establishements that care about the food they make and the people they serve it to.

Wendy's cause they towed my car our of their (totally empty) lot once,plus all those fast food places are just grease and salt. When I'm out on a job we just stop at an independent joint and get a chicken sandwich.I never eat at any grease shops anymore.

Every time we go through NE, we stop at first Runza we see. It is a nice change. The wife hails from Omaha, so we visit friends and family there once in a while. There is an awesome Italian place somewhere downtown Omaha.

I do prefer any local mom and pop diners and restaurants over any of the chain. Our cruise night originates at Wendy's. We will never got to another Ryan's because of totally crappy service and food. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of choice here, so we are stuck. I sure do miss real sea food. Not the stuff they serve at Red Lobster. Funny how I thought that was great till I moved to NC and had the good fresh stuff.

You guys are grossing me out. I agree with the Buffet deal. No way. We have about a thousand here in Santa Maria, too. (real sophisticated tastes here.) Every once in a while a fast food place, but I prepare myself for a stomach ache and if I don't get one, I consider it a bonus.:lol:

I eat pretty much anything. I LOVE oriental, buffet or not. Who cares what's in it as long as it tastes good!:D I don't eat at Tex-Mex type places, only the real thing for me.

ANY place with a drive-up window. EXCEPT for In-n-Out Burger. I gotta have a few of those when I'm in Vegas.

Seriously, since I started working out daily and eating cleaner, I can't stomach hardly ANY fast food anymore. Putter described it best as when he has Hardees!

I went to the atm next door, took out a 20. bought a burger meal. got change from a 10. I told the girl i gave her a 20. She said no it was a ten. i got the manager and he counted the till. sure enough it was right on. "Well no $hit its right on cause that girl was short a 10 and used me to bring it back up!" Never again.

I made the mistake of eating at a Spangles in Wichita today, absolute worst burger I have ever been served. There were 3 of us eating, and none of us could finish our burgers. I will NEVER darken their doorway again!

KFC, had food poisoning from there in a BAD way not once, but twice. I've since sworn it off. Buffalo Wild Wings as well, it's too damn spendy for what you get (or don't get). Most chain places are, I've found (IE: Ruby Tuesday's, TGI Fridays, Applebees, etc.)

I don't eat out much anyway, if I do it's generally chinese food or pizza (NOT pizza hut :puke: )

My wife tells me I have an iron stomach. I will eat pretty much eat anything at least once. I love Chinese buffets but never get the chance any more because of my wife’s fear of them. I lived in the Caribbean and South America for two years and you wouldn’t believe what I willingly eat down there.

My wife can not even look at fast food without getting explosive diarrhea. When we pass taco bell I roll up the window just incase.

I can eat pretty much anything.... I prefer to not eat at McD's but do every few months... I remember when the regular hamburger patties were the size of the current quarter pounder patties WTF!!!
Other than that I can eat almost anywhere except seafood... I am a beef boy, can't eat seafood at all (except alaskan king crab legs)

No fast food places anymore. DO NOT eat at chinese buffet places. I had the lovely privledge of working on two different places, ooooh scary, don't know the meaning of cleanliness. One place stunk of stale urine so badly I wore a respirator and worked as fast as humanly possible.:barf::barf: And they were supposed to open to the public within days.:jdp: No joke!

I guess I've been lucky so far. I eat pretty much anywhere, love a good buffet. The only time I can remember being sick was my wifes cooking. She didn't quite get some chicken fully cooked and we paid dearly for it the next 2 days. Out both ends, I wished I was dead.

McDonalds,Sonic,KFC,Pizza Hut,Old Country Buffet,Golden Corral.I tell myself all the time that I won't eat at Waffle House,but everytime I'm in the south and start drinking I end up there.

I'll pretty much eat anywhere . . you just have to be a little selective about what you're getting.

The one place I won't eat is Cracker Barrel. I hate being stuck out there in that gift shop for 20 minutes, only to finally get a table and find out the place is half-empty. If I wanted to go to a cheesy knick-knack shop first I'd go to one.

I wont eat at Ruby Tuesdays. They now have scratchy napkins, smaller portions, less menu, and more!(Or should I say less)

Other than that we eat anywhere that tastes good, I've eaten genuine(not that fake crap)German, French, Italian, Greek, Chinese, Mediterranean, I've also eaten snails, alligator, lamb, bison, octopus, shark, dolphin, and more. I get around quite a bit. :)

Too many to list. Falling back on my delivery days I had to use the service entrance to handle up on buisiness. Even the kitchens of the nicest places were gross.

Wendy's is definetly out! Me, my son, & husband have all been sick, out both ends, from them before..and even in different towns. My 5 yr old seriously almost starts crying if we even pull in one to go to the bathroom.

I'm with you there! I've also been in the the back areas of the kitchens at our university. So I eat off campus if I don't bring my lunch from home. Poor freshman kids that have to but a meal ticket don't have a choice.
