I have used the search function, but still have a question about the swapping out the cab mounts on my 69LWB.

I am hoping to be able to do the job without pulling the cab off, and know it can be done one side at a time. Can I accomplish this with the front clip in place or will I need to loosen things up a bit? Do I have to loosen up the core support?

Thanks in advance..

i've just used a jack with a piece of 2X6 to gently jack up the cab(about an inch or two) to get mounts in//the front cab mount bolts are usually tacwelded so you need to grind the weld to remove the bolt// i never removed or loosened anything else to install the mounts

There is no need to remove the cab.
My kit said to loosen all the bolts a bit, then do one side at a time.
That worked fine, but if your mounts are original, they are probably so old and crushed you don't need to loosen anything.

Thanks for the info.. Looks like it's getting close for another order from GMCPaul for some new mounts
