I wanted to start a thread to get everyone to give names and #'s to some local junkyards which maybe helpful when we need to look around for some of those hard to find parts.

My resto Project is located in Winston-Salem. A new find for me is Hamby Motors in Pfafftown, NC ask for Eddie Hamby 336-945-3712. He is a stand up guy and has helped me out every time I needed to find parts in his yard or calling up his contacts!!....

Does anyone know of any in and around the Charlotte area?? other areas??

The only one I know about around here that anyone has any luck with is the Pull A Part in Charlotte. They have flat rate fees for motors and all along with a warranty on em.

Ha guys, i live right outside Richfield. the guy with the mustang on a pole sold out a couple years ago I think. There used to be a place called Richards right down hwy49 from the place with the mustang, couple miles past hwy 109. The problem is you can't caught them there, i do know they had about 20 to 30 of our trucks.

Ray Whites is the best I place i have found to buy parts for my 67 and he is really reasonable with his prices! I haven't been back since his son took it over but I hope he still has good prices.

I found a Gapco U-Pull-It here in GSO.I wandered thru it a few months ago and they had a couple of 67-72 but they were pretty well stripped.I went thru today and they had one that was all but gone.Not much truck stuff at all and most of it was garbage.

There's a guy between Greensboro & Level Cross with a field full of 67-72 Chevy trucks. Carson Rousey is his name. He works 9 days on-9 days off. Just call 336-498-3315 and leave message. Great guy. Lots of great parts & trucks. I needed a automatic crossmember for my '71. He had one already out,cleaned & painted for $35. Took it home & bolted it up.
