I am in Metro Atlanta but I work all over that area.

I have a son that lives in Easley SC. I get down that way as often as I can. In fact as soon as I can escape I need to make a trip down there.

Have lived in the Grvll, Ander. area since 1959 (transplanted yankee), have finally settled down between the big cities of Belton-Honea Path. Have a daughter who lives in the Piedmont area, two in the Simpsonville area and One in the Columbia area. One son in Honea Path and one who is still at home (can't wait till he finishes school and gets out :lol:).

My Dad and brother live in Travelers Rest, one sister lives in Taylors...another in Columbia.
The whole upstate is a beautiful place.

I'm trying to plot a way to make a trip up to southern Va. to buy a 73-87 short step that a guy has for sale. I have a 74 short fleet that needs bedsides bad. I can buy this bed cheaper. Miss Naomi has said no more buying until I sell something. (about 5 parts runs ago) Just have to figure it out.

Look in 73-87 parts for sale and its the ad for SWB stepside Bed only perfect and the ad is posted by badassapachie. He has a zip in there somewhere. Check and see how far he is from yo and if you could pick it up and hold it until I can get up there to get it I'll pay you for your trouble and send him a money order for the thing. If it's to far or whatever it's not the end of the world Thanks.

he is about 265 miles from me and about 110 miles north from the nc meet
so load up you truck and lets do the nc meet and then go get the truck bed :)
i can drive but we will have to use your truck, at the moment i dont have anything with a hitch on it that runs , i do have a car trailer and a smaller trailer(6x10)

It's sold. I should have just bought it and then worried about getting it home but every time I do that it don't work out. Thanks for trying to help anyhow. Will see you at Maggie valley for sure.
