Pretty straight grille. Chrome is not the best, the chrome on headlight bezels are rough. $175 shipped obo.

Is that rust on the grille itself (down by the letters) just surface rust? Do you think steel wool and chrome polish will take care of it? Any dents?

Yes it is rust down by the letters. I think it would come off, I hav'nt tried. There are no dents in the grille that I saw, but I will check again for you.

Well, the headlight bezels are pretty rusty and looks like they will need to be re-chromed or replaced. If the surface rust on the grille looks like it will come off with a fine steel wool (maybe you can try a small area for me) and polish with decent shine, I'll consider it. Let me know if there are any dings or dents and we'll go from there. I have a cherry 60 grille on my 62 now, but I've wanted to go back with the original grille in chrome for a while.

One more. The rust cleaned up a little, but it could be better. I just used a brillo pad. Maybe some true chrome polish would work but I don't know? Just let me know.
