Is there a "decent" rear bumper for a 67 GM Truck?
I am a carpenter and thinking of making a heavy duty maple laminated one reinforced with steel on the back side then bolted to the frame.Anyone ever do a hardwood style bumper?

the wood bumpers look as good as you maintain them// for a basic everyday bumper you cant beat the generic heavy step bumpers i see them all the time at spawmeets for around $20 add a can off spray paint and its good for 3-4years. i've found them new at reasonable prices at jcwhitney
