It's official! The date is set. There is a pavilion and a charcoal grille. There is a pond and a pretty cool play area for the kids.

If you can bring something to eat, great, if not, come anyway!
Please respond here if you are going to make it (and how many folks you're bringing) so I can make sure we have enough food for everyone!
If you can bring your trucks, that's great, if not that's okay too!

I feel ashamed about the paint on the hood (blistered from a small thermal event with a fuel line and a backfire) but I guess I can try to cover it up. lol

Is this still a go tomorrow? How many people are confirmed?. I think we need a head count and determine who's bringing what?. We were planning to bring pasta salad. I was hoping for a bigger turnout. It's still a go for tomorrow. Morecentsless (from over at streetcruizin) is planning on attending as well. Of course he'll show up just about anywhere there is free food :lol: There is also another member from right around the corner here (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) who pm'd Bob to say he was planning to attend as well.

It's a fairly small venue, and I want to have a couple more get-togethers later in the summer. i just really want to try and get the Maryland chapter off the ground, so to speak.
The latest weather report says that the rain should be gone by the time we fire up the grill!!

THERE IS A 4X4 LONGBED FOR SALE RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER, TOO!!! I don't know any details about it, other than the color...I just saw it the past few days in a yard about a mile from Friends Park....

There was a grand total of three trucks, 7 adults, 5 kids and a puppy....not the turn out I had hoped for, but the weather wasn't exactly 'nice'....I know we still had a good time, and I finally got to see Jim's truck in person! :metal:
