I know there are stickies that cover this stuff, but with a lot of new members, and the ratio of people that actually look at the stickies when the enter a forum, well, you get the point...
Here's the deal. The people that do this stuff ("Photochops") enjoy doing it, but they don't enjoy certain things. I can only speak for myself.
I will cover a couple of bases and anyone else can chime in.
We'll let this bubble around a while, and then let it sink. Mods - please don't sticky it, so it may get read.
•Please give an ACCURATE description of what you want done. Reading minds is not in the average humans ability.
-Bad Example: Will you put some chrome rims my truck and paint it. Thanks.
-Good example: Will you put some Chrome Foose Nitrous wheels on my truck and paint it Victory Red. Thanks.
•Please provide GOOD source photos.
What is a good source photo? If you want your truck lowered and painted - a nice 3/4 view shot works well for this. Higher resolution images are good too. Since you can only upload 640x480 to the board, you can host it on any of the free image hosting sites and post it with the [img] tags.
If you want wheels, provide a picture of them! It also helps when they are in the same angle as the wheels that are already on your truck. You can find these a lot of times by finding them already on a vehicle.
If you want other modifications added, provide pictures that can be used of them.
•WHY? Like I said, we enjoy doing this for you, but we don't necessarily enjoy spending an hour finding the pictures just to make it happen. That's your job.
Not trying to sound like a jerk - but have noticed a lot of "empty" requests lately. This is a cool part of the message board, but it is only as good as what everyone makes it.
