View Full Version : food poll Liz 04-05-2008, 04:03 PM just cause we can, we are.. no other reason :) gdhall_1999 04-05-2008, 10:05 PM ummm, there's no all of the above. lol anything on the grill is good :sumo: krue 04-05-2008, 10:41 PM RED MEAT! :metal: Palf70Step 04-05-2008, 11:05 PM I do bird, burgers, or most anything (just hold the grits please :D). I get to ruin my arteries for the trip  special-K 04-09-2008, 01:03 AM I like everything. woodridge 04-09-2008, 04:42 AM I agree, all of the above. But burgers and dogs will do. special-K 04-09-2008, 12:33 PM Burgers and hot dogs fit the budget better and the mouth just as well.Chicken ain`t to hard on the poket, either.Where`s the wild game option? That`s the cheapest.:D Bishops Trucks 04-09-2008, 01:21 PM All of the above mentioned foods are best on the grill. I cook a great Carolina BBQ Chicken. I rub my porterhouse steaks down with a special blend of seasonings and cook to desired pinkness. I'm starting to get hungry again. Ron 586 04-09-2008, 07:40 PM I would have went with the option all of the above had it of been offered. I went with burgers because I would rather have a good burger than a cheap steak. BOSS 04-09-2008, 08:04 PM Can't beat a good steak imo :) Ron 586 04-10-2008, 08:31 AM Can't beat a good steak imo :) I couldn't agree more on a good steak. But unless you know something I don't I doubt we can make it fit our budget. We're a jeans and tee shirt crowd. Bishops Trucks 04-10-2008, 11:09 AM I couldn't agree more on a good steak. But unless you know something I don't I doubt we can make it fit our budget. We're a jeans and tee shirt crowd. I'm one of the biggets supporters of the jeans and t-shirt crowd but I still have to have my steaks. When I'm living in the states, me and my Dad split a whole cow. That gives you the best price possible for your meats. The last 1/2 I got worked out to $2.11 per pound and my 1/2 weighed 360Lb's. I had Porterhouse steaks that would cover a standard dinner plate. I gotta go, I'm starting to drool on the keyboard. Ron 586 04-10-2008, 02:19 PM I guess that is why we are having a poll to find out what everyone wants. Then we get to figure out how to pay for it. That's why I'm leaving this up to the ones that hold the purse strings. woodridge 04-10-2008, 04:21 PM Burgers and hot dogs fit the budget better and the mouth just as well.Chicken ain`t to hard on the poket, either.Where`s the wild game option? That`s the cheapest.:D I can start putting road kill in the freezer now if you'd like. gdhall_1999 04-10-2008, 06:26 PM I can start putting road kill in the freezer now if you'd like. If I had know we where doing "road kill grill" I could have dug a bunch out of the snow banks before they melted a few weeks back  LUV2XCLR8 04-10-2008, 09:06 PM All of the above :D bobbo 04-11-2008, 02:27 AM I agree with the roadkill option, with all of the poeple travelling to this there is bound to be something getting hit along the way! BRING IT and We'll grill it! :) But if that doesn't pan out, burgers on the grill sounds great and very American. :) Ron 586 04-11-2008, 03:10 AM Won't be no roadkill on my grille..............a little on the front bumper maybe. gdhall_1999 04-11-2008, 08:47 AM I would say if the board is supplying it hot dogs and MAYBE burgers on the grill if you want something different you supply it and the grills will be hot. then again I'm a cheap bas****. and I will bring what me and my son will eat. any thing else is pudding on/in the cake. just my thoughts. glen tommypic 04-11-2008, 11:39 AM I would have went with the option all of the above had it of been offered. I went with burgers because I would rather have a good burger than a cheap steak. :agree: me not hard to please , just likes to eat and have a GOOD old :ennyd: will I can see 8 out of 17 wants burgers on the grill Phuloi68 04-11-2008, 03:14 PM Hot dogs, hamburgers, maybe some chicken. With people coming and going, and trying to have food available, thru out the day, these are quick and easy to keep them coming. Keep it simple. Don't have to worry about a big menu. Hungry people will enjoy what's provided. If they are picky, just tell them to close their eye's and when they eat a hot dog, think it's tube STEAK and a hamburger is PORTERHOUSE. :) :flag: Liz 04-11-2008, 09:57 PM :) we will probably do like last year with doing an "afternoon" meal, so there is food available as you say, until it runs out. It seemed to work well last year, and did not break the bank doing a bunch of meals. Phuloi68 04-11-2008, 11:51 PM I thought last year at Boss"s went great. Think everyone who went probably feels the same. PanelDeland 05-20-2008, 02:09 AM Let's see,I'm gonna be hanging with BB members, talking trucks, working on trucks, looking at trucks and maybe cruising trucks.OK any of the above works but then for the above mentioned activities I can probably get by on BLOWNEY SAMWHICHES!!!! Palf70Step 05-20-2008, 04:28 AM Under those/these conditions Panel, a PBJ would work! ;) Putter 05-20-2008, 02:36 PM My bologna has a first name.... ....it's... O S C A R My bologna has a second name.... ...it's...M A Y E R Can't beat "Round Steak" Hey, if I get hungry enough, I can eat a Spam Sammich (or Beanie Weenies) Lewser 06-17-2008, 08:46 PM Won't be no roadkill on my grille..............a little on the front bumper maybe. I gots me a craving for some BBQ-green-bean-wraps while the fire is hot (gotta buy the supplies though) Anybody wanna bring along some deer meat? We can whoop up some deer wraps, too. Palf70Step 06-18-2008, 09:09 AM We may be able to tag a few on the way up Putter. ;) I alsomost zapped about 3 between here and PA last week, and saw at least 12 on the side going up and at least that many on the trip back. Putter 06-18-2008, 11:07 AM We better pack a cooler of ice in case we clip a deer or 'possum on the way. Liz 06-18-2008, 11:26 AM mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm bruised roadkill steaks :barf: Palf70Step 06-18-2008, 01:18 PM Ahhh, come on now Liz, where is your southern-ness? :haha: retodd7711 06-18-2008, 06:08 PM Hey, if I get hungry enough, I can eat a Spam Sammich (or Beanie Weenies) With the price of gas beanie weenies might be a good idea:lol: I vote for cheap and easy Putter 06-20-2008, 09:03 AM Eat the beanie weenies, generate gas. Deposit gas fumes into tank. Drive to store to get beanie weenies. Repeat. |
