We will not formally be holding a meeting for May, however there will be a few attending for the monthly cruise-in. Same place, Steak N Shake on S. Glenstone. Will let those attending organize time for meeting up. There was an awesome turnout for April so, weather permitting, May should be great too! :)

Since I won't be cruising to Maggie Valley :( I will meet up with whoever shows up there and we can just check out some rides. Won't call it a meeting, just a meet. :)

I think it starts at about 1:00 but people come and go all afternoon. I was planning on being there about 2:00, give or take a minute. :)

I'm planning on being there as well. I'm still working on my 350. The heads are at the machine shop getting the once over. I'm having them ported and polished as well as getting them cut out for 2.02 and 1.60 stainless steel valves. The bottom end looks great, so I'm leaving it alone.

I just spent about $750 today on chrome and polished aluminum dress up parts for this engine and the 383 that I have in the works. When I get the heads back for the 350, I'm going to drop the Dart Iron Eagle heads for the 383 off at the machine shop and get them assembled. Then I'll start getting ready to do the bottom end.

My wife wants me to build the 383 and set it back. She wants to find a Nova, Chevelle, or old Camaro to drop it in. Dad gave me a TH 400 short shaft tranny along with the 350 that will be built into the 383. It needs to be rebuilt as well, but this combo would make a great drivetrain in a lighter weight car.

Can't wait to get this 350 ready and get it dropped in. I've been waiting a while, and this may be the year to get it done! ;) ...Joe

Sorry I did not make it to Steak N- Shake, But I do have a good reason. We got a great start on the new shop.

Bobbo just wanted to toss this idea out to you guys. Get a couple people together and rent a space @ the swap meet down there in August? that might help get the club name out a little more, and a chace to sell/BUY more truck parts.:chevy:

That's a great idea. :gi:I have some stuff that I'd like to sell myself. I'll look into the cost of renting a booth if enough of you guys are interested in doing that. Let me know. ...Joe

That does ound like a good idea, let us know what you come up with, Joe. :) I am looking into having some stickers made up with the club logo and Missouri Chapter on them. As soon as I get some prices i will let ya know.

Got that last year at the board meet. I am trying to get something a little more fancy together for the club members or if you want something simple like what i have now, I can get some made up. i only have one of those left and it is black if you are interested. Won't show up too good on a tinted window.

I will just see what you come up with, you are right they wont show up much on the back glass if they are black. I am not much into stickers but would put one on with the club info on it...
