View Full Version : Southwest Idaho Area Members????
Highsteel 04-20-2008, 07:10 PM Looking for members around the area for local meets/runs/helps or whatever!
I'm in Boise and have seen lots of trucks and also seen some members on the board from Boise Area.
I would like to see if there was any interest in some local events as Portland, Seattle, and such are too far out for me right now.
How about it?
Anyone out there interested?
Jerry
lts70 04-24-2008, 01:04 AM I am originally from Glenns Ferry and my wife is from Mountain Home, not to far from where you are at. I moved to Utah for college and got a job down here. I put the same call out to Utah members a couple weeks ago now and have had no response, I hope you have better luck. I hear about all of the other areas activities and it makes me jealous, I hope our area catches up in the amount of board activities some day.
Highsteel 04-24-2008, 04:44 AM There's a bunch on this board, unfortunately theres not a lot of foot traffic in this part of the forum, lol.

bubba327 06-10-2009, 06:41 PM Hey guys-United Street rods of Idaho is a great group to join ($5 per year) they are our legislative representatives to protect the rights of street rodders in Idaho. And they have a calender of all Major cruises/shows for the coming year. Mostly southern Idaho. Not sure if the calender is online or not. They mail a paper calender in the the spring to members.

Another local club goes by "No Limit Classics (http://www.nolimitclassics.com/index.html)", a great bunch of people.

bubba327 11-01-2009, 08:14 PM Welcome everybody -Any Idahoan that is new to the forum , I try to at least welcome them and let them know how to find the Idaho club in the group section . Maybe something can get rolling in spring 2010???? -- Bubba
07SSSC 11-01-2009, 09:11 PM Be cool to at least plan a meet at a show (Northwest Motorfest maybe?). Be more viable for some that live down here (or further as far as that's concerned) since it's an entire weekend rather then a 1 day get together. I made the trip to this years NWMF in my truck, wasn't bad, but definitely not a ball of fun turning 4 grand at 65-70 lol.
bubba327 11-02-2009, 10:26 AM --I heard Northwest Motorfest has now moved from the July 4th weekend to the following weekend in July. I took my Chevelle maybe 8 or 9 years ago. The July 4th weekend is always so busy with friends, family, food and fireworks, and is too hard to attend. I heard the same from others.Could be why it got moved.

Agreed, July 4th is always busy, and I'm sure more will show up being a week later. Although it was nice to be up in Boise for the fireworks rather then the 10 minute show at the high school here in Buhl.

I posted some pictures of the 60-66 trucks that were there and got to meet Cameron AKA Imperial Kustom. We always take something to show and go back in the evening for the street cruise and festivities. A great weekend but usually HOT weather in the 100's .You have to have a good cooling system for that cruise.
