Do you have the stock gas tank behind the seat, but thinking of installing, or have installed, an aftermarket fuel level gauge? As you probably found out, the 60-66 sending units are 30 ohm and the aftermarket fuel level gauges for GM applications require a 0-90 ohm fuel sending unit to interface properly. I have been modifying the 1960 through 1966 GM truck OE sending units to work with aftermarket fuel gauges on the weekends for a few years, now. I stopped doing it a couple of years ago since there was a huge trend in relocating the gas tank to under the bed and I didn't receive anymore requests. But recently, I had a few requests, so I thought I would check to see if there are others who are interested before I stop again.

The cost is $110 (includes shipping) to your door via insured UPS Ground for a brand new OE sending unit with 0-90 ohm resistor/float assembly modification.

I am located in SoCal and you can reach me via email at: vincent@mayedamotorsports.com

Bump for you!

Thanks, man! ;) That sending unit must have worked out well for you. My buddy in Arizona, who I did the conversion for about 10 years ago, now, always brings up how he has not run out of gas since. I guess being stranded in 115 degree heat one too many times will do that to a guy.

Nice to hear! I was a little worried about the international shipping and the package getting damaged enroute.
