Just wondering if anyone went or heard how the day went (so far) there? Some of us got stuck working.:( I know we had some bad storms come threw here wondering if it rained on their parade?

I got a text from josh tellin me that a seat i purchaced from Down south truckin got loaded up in Ron 586's truck.
Other than that, just typical BS'n in text. Nothing really said about the event. (I actually forgot that he was there till he told me about the seat)

I went and it was nice to meet some of the board members...It did rain, But not real hard just enough to be a pain...the food was great too :lol:...Andy that's a nice seat you got...I saw them unload it into Ron's truck

It is pretty nice though huh? It's goin in the burb. I got on here askin for a link to a nice looking seat cover, was willin to spenmd 100 bucks, even more for a good looking one. Then Down south truckin popped in saying I'll sell you this seat instead.

anyway we are havin a blast, we ended up with 50 people at fat buddies for dinner tonight and are just hanging out talking at the hotel now. The show was / is nice, smaller turnout, usual rain but lots of good friends. Will post pics if the connection will allow, if not when we get home.

They don`t call the Smokies a temperate rain forest for nothing,huh?The ribs were dry though,right?As in seasoning.:cool:
I had to spend the day with Bill Athey in the ho hum Shenendoah Valley of all things.Don`t worry,I survived his friendliness ok,I guess.

we made it home a few ago. rons truck decided axles are optional, so he will be getting home very late this evening... robb stayed with him on the side of I40 until ron ran him off a bit ago, and the car trailer should be rolling him on home right now. robb should be checking in, in an hour or so, his 67 is doin the hippy hippy shake on the interstate, so hes taking it slow as well. As for the rest, noone called saying SOS, so they are likely home or just getting there, and should be checking in soon

Just talked to Rob,he's about 10 miles from home and cruising.He found the "Sweet Spot" where the vibes were gone so he was holding 'er steady.Hope Ron's ride gets to him soon so he can get on home.

It was good , got there Sat in time for the rain :but: looked like a SSR convention :haha: alot of nice rides tho and alot of board members . we would have met ya ll at fat buddies , but had BBQ Friday night at wedding . oh yea where is the pic of Liz in the beanie ? didn't think i knew did you :D

ohhh so thats the payback for lettin yall stand in the rain huh? ;) wish ya'll coulda stayed longer :)
