OK, to get things fired up for our July holiday the theme of this month’s contest will be:
Fired-Up!
Now here are the rules or criteria the vehicles must meet in order to be nominated
• The vehicle nominated needs to belong to a board member during the time of the contest.
• This month's contest is open to all Trucks, Blazers, Suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons, and Jimmys where the primary exterior color is RED. Flames, striping, or some details maybe added, but the primary color must be RED.
• It must be together and able to move on its own power. It does not have to be licensed for street use.
• If a truck has been a TOTM winner during 2006, 2007, or 2008, it is ineligible for the current contest. If the truck was nominated but was not selected as a TOTM winner then it may be nominated and compete in this month's category.
To Nominate:
You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. Just add the nomination to this thread. We will need a picture or two of the nominee vehicle, the owner’s board name, and any of the basics specs (year, engine/drive train specs) you or your nominee wish to provide.
I normally use 1 picture showing a good front-side view and 1 with a rear view of the vehicles on the voting threads. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM.
Nominees will through Jun 24. If additional information is needed, I will PM the first 15 nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Poll thread will be set up in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all of the voting. The Poll will start to run on Jun 25 and will run until the morning of July 1. The official announcement of the winner will be on the afternoon of July 1. The announcement of this month’s TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.
