What color of pearl would look good in "Black Cherry" used on the Cadillacs? I am putting my 73 stepside in for a repaint and have decide on black cherry and wondering what color of pearl would look good in it.

Make a spray out card.A piece of sheetmetal will work. Mix your colors and spray each one then clear and take outside. You'll be surprised at what REALLY looks good. The other thing, do you want the pearl in the paint or in the clear. Two completely different things and will make the colors look completely different. You need to find a shop that will let you experiment. Just remember, the farther from a factory color you get, or a formulated custom color, the harder it is to match if something happens.

Well I talked to the painter and he said to make that drastic of a change it would cost a lot more (1K). He said he would have to remove the front and rear glass and both front fenders to cover up all of the white so I guess I will just stick with the White Diamond. Bummer......
